I don’t think I’m in any danger of being asked to be a guest, but I regret to inform you I cannot appear on the Jennifer Hudson Show as I am unwilling/unable to do that dance down the hallway.

How did Black Mirror miss this one!? metro.co.uk/2025/09/17/d...
'Dystopian' toilets won't give you loo roll unless you watch an advert first
If you don't want to watch an advert, you can pay 0.5 RMB - about 5p - to skip the ads.

Did anyone else notice that at some point along the way, the idea of a home theater just sort of disappeared?

@mattbelloni.bsky.social If the Colbert decision was purely financial, wouldn’t there be an attempt to try to keep the #1 show through cost-cutting first? I don’t think we’ve had any reporting that CBS said anything like ”Hey what would this show look like with a staff of 100, instead of 200.”

Finally getting around to reading the Isaacson Steve Jobs biography. Yes he was a flawed man, but boy I’d rather have him plotting the future of ai than any of these yahoos we have now.

Do we have a phrase for realizing something pointless long after the fact? For example, me waking up today and realizing I missed the Shamrock Shake this year?
