looking in old paper diary for a password, found my old list of christmas cards that i sent each year. only 19 of them. list is maybe 11 years old. read through it, 7 of them are now dead, 2 of the couples have divorced, have lost touch with another 6 on the list. feeling old

i loathe modern ticket selling. platinum this. VIP that. premium anything. +£300 per ticket for a basket of chips or a wristband. mostly bought by wankers. pricing out proper fans. now i'm getting bombarded by seatunique. another bloody parasite. havent been to anything for years because of it all

new fridge day. seal gone on old one, wet inside. ordered a month ago. turns up, 2 good lads remove old one, get new one in. integrated, so a task. done. then they spot it's not a fridge at all. it's a freezer. fuck me. take new one out, go and get old one, put it back in. now out of stock. again

bosses met this morning to finalise work for rest of year. told them i had 53 days of work allocated to do by next round of committees, but only in work 41 of those days. said theyd sort. meeting done. i still have 53 days. but have been given an additional 9 days on top. whats the plural of genius?

Is it a formal stage in your life when you start to watch almost everything with the subtitles on? I can hear fine, but just find it’s easier, especially films. Watching Dune part 2 this afternoon. Reckon it would have been nigh on impossible without the subtitles
