An anthro female-presenting character is halfway down some unknown characters throat, topless. Her expression is flustered, concerned, and blushy. She appears to be resisting her current situation.

However, this character enjoys this act, and consented to it in advance of the picture's available context. There are millions of art pieces like this that would be falsely flagged as 'rape' by an abusive and vague reporting system by bad faith actors who simply don't like what they're looking at.

A large speech bubble is to the left:
"I have to say that I consented to being eaten by this unknown character because I am a singular image being shown with little to no context with an 'atypical' expression of arousal, which includes a worried expression and signs of resistance.
The character eating me has a very close relationship with me, but you wouldn't know that from a single image!
This could have simply been tagged and
filtered by Bluesky's self-moderation, but instead, if I don't say out loud that I consented to this kink scenario I find myself in, I am at risk for getting my artist banned by bad faith users that report anything they don't like as 'nonconsensual
sexual material'! There is no way to protect against this, by bluesky's own vague rules, aside from openly saying that I consented to this scenario, thus ruining
the freedom of viewer interpretation, taking away people's rights to see legal content, and otherwise putting any artist that firmly falls in this vague rule's 'gray area' at risk of being completely de-platformed because Bluesky wants to censor certain content, but won't even define exactly what about it will be the parameters by which content will be reported and banned. Nobody wins in this situation.

But sure, Thanks for being fake-concerned about the consent of fictional characters and not listening to those "14,000+ users" you claim to have heard."

And the thousands of others that are now speaking up.

For those that have never had to deal with bluesky mod: A lot of my art features nudity that's not at all sexual but celebrates bodies. Every single time it gets marked by auto mod as Pornographic. Sometimes they're not even nude. I have to appeal the label wait sometimes WEEKS to maybe get it fixed

I'm writing about the upcoming change to the Bluesky TOS. Bluesky put out a feedback request and despite many people voicing concerns about the changes, very concerning updates have been maintained.

Bluesky has MANY moderation tools that users can utilize themselves to restrict content that they don't want to see without needing to prevent the content from being published on the site as a whole. Aside from content labels, there are user-run moderation lists and feeds so that anyone can curate their content easily.

Despite this, you have chosen to move forward with some incredibly harmful policies that restrict free speech. I implore you to remove the following policies:

1) The restriction of FICTIONAL kink content. Non-con, dub-con, and “dangerous” kink content that is FICTIONAL does not harm anyone.

2) The restriction of content depicting or discussing self harm, suicide, and substance abuse. Requiring content about these subjects to only be “educational” is extremely harmful to those dealing with these issues. Stigma only serves to further endanger people in crisis.

If these policy changes are not removed then I, among many others, will have to look for a different platform to use.
