I was not expecting a teenager dressed as Kurt Cobain Unplugged in New York for Halloween. And I'm pretty sure it surprised him to have his costume recognized unprompted. One of his group was Edward Scissorhands so there must be an early 90s retro thing going on.

This is just crazy stupid. If everyone in the UK deleted every single cloud based email and photo it would not spin down a single hard drive. Browsing and deleting all of those items would waste significant electricity and water as the servers spin up to handle all the requests.

Is it possible that there is not a single dog owner in the entire National's office? How do you go through the process of finding the perfect distressed dog photo and not question should we be doing this in the first place?

One of the most succinct statements on the root cause of a lot of toxicity on social media I've seen. From the sites' perspective both are "engagement" and reply people scale easier. But the overall experience for the majority of users is not improved by reply people BS.
There's a vast psychological gap between
Person who posts 20-200 times a day and has 1000s of followers
and
Person who replies 20-200 times per day and has 37 followers
And people on one side of the gap clearly have 0 understanding of people on other side
