The Cuyahoga County Public Library system is fantastic; better than what I experienced in LA or Texas. ILL will get you any physical book you want. The ebook system is robust and quick. They have Pride and Black history month displays despite Ohio politics. I'm proud my tax dollars do this work.

The desolation of viable third spaces in US life means public libraries are one of the only places that orgs like Kentucky Gardens can meet without significant costs. When your org is volunteer run and keeps costs low for participants, the library becomes a lifeline.
