Work is really busy right now, so I've moved my day off from tomorrow to the final working day before Christmas 🤘🎉

Beyond the ethical and quality concerns, why would you want to cut voice actors out of your process? They’re the hot people with media training and a camera presence. You need a Laura Bailey or Neil Newbon out there to do panels or it’s just a bunch of sweaty devs in t shirts and blazers

Can confirm. I’ve only worked at one studio where we had AI rammed down our throats and it came directly and solely from the CEO. Everyone else hated it and recognized it as the dreck it was. It’s almost like we should stop letting the worst people run things or something.
"All major game studios are using generative AI" the fact this is a lie aside, the ones that are using it aren't doing so willingly. It's meddling managers and CEOs with no understanding or attachment to game development forcing it on devs who end up not using anything it outputs anyway.

I am now living by a long checklist and alarms for when to give certain meds and do various things.
Also had under 5hrs of bad sleep so that's fun.
Spent 2hrs in middle of night trying to get Jess to eat & stop hissing at his sick sister.
Not 100% sure how I'm supposed to focus like this 😅

Today, Pip has had two injections at the vets, two sets of eye drops from me (about 75% success rate there) and her first lot of medication in food.
She also loves the expensive special vet approved food I have to give her now. (Thank God!)
