An existing, underused bike shelter (pictured) will be repurposed and surrounded by security fencing. OCC says there is already ample bike parking at Oxford Parkway and that the parcel delivery will not impact Park & Ride users.

A freight interchange between delivery trucks and cargo bikes is planned for Oxford Parkway car park. Shipments will be delivered to the “micro consolidation hub” every morning, then taken into Oxford and Kidlington by electric cargo bike.
