I don't think the #Royals could ask for more than they're getting from Daniel Vazquez and Carson Roccaforte down in the Arizona Fall League.

Both look like legit hitting prospects which the system desperately needs.

This is a great way of putting it from Matt Quatraro. Having a good approach is in part understanding how pitchers want to get you out.
And I love that he refers to “perceived” struggles rather than “struggles” bc it indicates that Cags was letting the results get to him.

It’s a real back-and-forth affair. That’ll make the rest of this game tough to manage, as Q has to consider how badly they need wins and weigh it against the fact that they don’t have an off-day until Monday and will be facing a VERY good offense in Philly.

He’s no elite reliever but he’s a useful one and I’m not convinced he couldn’t be more. Still young and a lefty who throws 97-98 with heavy sink.
I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s interest from other teams who want to try him as a starter again.
