Annual reminder to water your Christmas tree poems …
This poem is written in the shape of a Christmas tree (well, most of it is) … Needles I wrote a poem in the shape of a Christmas tree but then forgot to water it and only a few days later [but the words beyond this point are scattered around the bottom of the page, like needles which have fallen from a Xmas tree) there were words all over the carpet

My Mani charity print is still available. An unfortunate rule with my print sales (I’m very lucky to sell any at all) is that every print I make has a 2 day lifespan for sales. That’s how social media works but I’d love to raise a bit more money for Stockport NHS. ❤️

We aren't dinosaurs.
Chicxulub Mammals made it out the other side of firestorms and months of night and our scars won’t be easy- petaled over by time— cold stone, clipped wing, state violence, stagnant wages. Yes, this world is burning, but what waits on the other side of fever. May be a summer’s sun, the drifting smell of asters the proud green of June leaves repeating take care.
