If you’ve ever wondered what occurs when a country is fatigued beyond all breaking points by endless culture warring and confected moral panics…

…look at how easily Musk is illegally dismantling entire institutions with almost none of the blowback or explosive reaction that his actions warrant.

So may have ripped my hamstring from the bone and done my AC joint skateboarding as a 54 year old.

Wondering what my next stupidity is gonna look like?

Don’t know how many bloody weeks I have done this for but I need to do my hard bits hard and the easy bits easy. Too much time in the middle power zones to get optimal adaptations.

12 mins for every hour of riding should be full gas. Just get that in my thick skull and get used to the very fact!

Some days you aren’t feeling it; you’re in pain, slept poorly, fatigued.

Some days you have to listen to your body.

Some days you just have to stick to your plan and get it done. If I’m a pro I’m just marching to the tune of my training plan. Do what they would do.

An inconvenient truth: a diet of beans, coffee and fruit the past 24 hrs had me ill prepared for yesterday’s performance review. I was shitting myself, literally.

Do not recommend.

Really saddened to hear Remco suffered significant injuries which will impact him. Clavicle dislocation far less than ideal.

At a community engagement workshop on road management in my region this week, I came away thinking cyclists are at risk from failings in infrastructure. Two near misses this week make me think it’s more related to poor and aggressive driving.

It seems like this is the time for Zwift to finally do real accuracy testing for trainers they approve for elite level racing, and establish an actual protocols for it too. Long overdue. Super well-written article: www.cyclingnews.com/news/zwift-p...
