The absolute gall of this. Trans people have been loudly decrying the blatant institutionalized transphobia being pumped out of the BBC offices FOR YEARS, and some staff made up bullshit "memo" sends the entire organization crashing within a week because they aren't transphobic ENOUGH.

I think one of the more pernicious effects of AI that I've noticed is the level of scrutiny I now have to pay to things I wouldn't have thought twice about before, especially as it relates to art. The level of trust I have is being constantly eroded because of the amount of AI slop I see everywhere

Today someone was telling me how bad socialism is, and then later was lamenting how SNAP and Medicaid are under attack. I think a lot of people truly don't realize what socialism is other than a boogeyman they've been conditioned to hate.

To be really clear, Sussex ICB threatened, in writing, to close a Brighton GP practice serving 25,000 patients, purely to bully them into passing over child records. The GP did not want to pass on these records, because they understood the acute risk (& reality) of harm to trans adolescents.
Sophie's article is back up with a statement from the ICB. They are lying. They threatened Well BN with closure if they weren't given access to our childs records. Well BN held off for months, trying to stop them.
