Canada clinches deal to join Europe’s €150B defense scheme
The deal concludes months of tough talks and will allow Ottawa to take part in procurements financed by the EU’s SAFE program.

Time for something else:
-Monteverdi, Musica Sacra, Concerto Italiano conducted by RInaldo Alessandrini, 1996
The Latin looks trivial. #classicalmusic in the broad sense; wikipedia: "Monteverdi is considered a crucial transitional figure between the Renaissance and Baroque periods of music history"

#classicalmusic "Don't miss any #Rosbaud recording, get everything, it's all special", somebody wrote on usenet (rec.music.classical.recordings) a decade ago. I have bought a pile of SWR box sets and individual CDs. No regrets!
This recording confirms Rosbaud's stellar reputation, in my opinion. A blazing performance, brilliantly idiomatic, if you ask me. Excellent soprano. Good sound.

Fortunately we can have both:
Bach, Concerto for two violins BWV 1043
[1] on modern instruments: Edith Peinemann & Renato Zanettovich with Orchestra A. Scarlatti di Napoli della RAI cond. by Claudio Abbado, 1963
[2] on period instruments: Café Zimmermann, 2003
Both are excellent. #classicalmusic

This 'historically informed' Mahler 4 nicely compliments Mengelberg's 1939 recording:
-equal intensity
-different, tighter interpretation with much less rubato
-much better soprano (voice, singing) #classicalmusic
