The cat is developing a bald spot because he likes to stand under the corner of the roof where the rain drops down most and then lick the rain water off of his own back. Not sure why this is bad for his bum hair but it is.

I heard that google was throwing away the best search results and instead sending results that give it more ad money - I thought "Pff. Nah, I haven't noticed that."
But today I searched for a thing and the entire first page of results were just stores. Duck Duck Go did better much better.

I wanted to look up pictures of pancakes on bluesky (I'm making the midnight pancakes) and instead I found photos of Four different cats all of whom are named Pancake. They are all beautiful and I adore them.

It looks like Unity is backing down to some unknown extent on their new fee. Gamedevs actually do have some collective power! Still, I hope all of the people posting about making their own custom game development engines don't stop because that stuff is fun to read.

So if you made a game on an old version of unity that doesn't call back to HQ every time someone installs it how do they know? Will gamedevs just use Unity 2020 and not upgrade?

Welp, time to go back to game dev with Build Engine I guess. On the plus side it always looked much cooler than unity.
