I'm 100% getting a new Steam Controller. Also very interested in the Frame as an easier to set-up VR solution, but pricing could kill that. Steam Machine, eh, if it's cheap it could be a nice bedroom PC.

AI generated music on YouTube Music has become a massive problem they're not doing anything about. I might give Deezer another shot since they actually care and built systems to label GenAI songs and - most importantly - exclude them from recommendations.

AI generated music on YouTube Music has become a massive problem they're not doing anything about. I might give Deezer another shot since they actually care and built systems to label GenAI songs and - most importantly - exclude them from recommendations.

I wish I could get my hands on a Polimaster PM1208M watch with the original wristband. I don't care much for watches, but this one is also a legit dosimeter, which is very cool.

It sucks that I cannot trust musical artists who haven't published anything before 2024 anymore. Though thankfully AI music often has very noticeable artefacts or is just generic. Still sucks that I have to now vet the profile of any new artist that comes up in my radio.

Trying to give those NETINT VPUs a shot for AV1 encoding but so far my experience with Linode has been just one blocker after another to actually getting one of those instances started :|

I'm gonna go to DoKomi next year just for the artist alley I think. They're great fun and if I go to one in Germany I'll actually be able to buy stuff without having to worry about luggage space 😅
