Kind of over social media. And yet I’m here.

Ok. Social media pause needed. Logging out and deleting this app. If you need to reach me, I have very obvious Gmail and personal domain email addresses.
One can only assume the 1099 contractor researchers DoorDash used to write this report sent an oddly phrased passive aggressive sob story text asking for a larger tip just before presenting the results.
They’ve laid off so many people that the government is now getting its economic data from DoorDash.

Rick Scott is working on the bill. Says all we need to know.
Sure, let's trust the man whose employer, Columbia/HCA, was convicted of 14 counts of fraud against the Federal Government during his time as CEO.

What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
The Affordable Care Act created a marketplace where consumers could use subsidies to help purchase private-sector plans. Trump’s concept of a plan involves no such marketplace, plunging consumers into a state of nature.

Three questions:
1. Is who politicians follow online newsworthy?
2. Is the vice-president more important than a primary candidate to be junior Senator from Texas?
3. If the answer is yes to the first two, why isn’t Axios doing a fuck ton of stories about who JD Vance is following?
James Talarico, a Texas Democrat running for U.S. Senate who has put his faith at the forefront of his campaign, follows several adult film performers, escorts and OnlyFans models on Instagram, according to an Axios review.

James Talarico has become a sensation in Texas politics by talking about how his Christianity is the basis for his progressive politics.

Here’s why this is bad news for Joe Biden…
“.. A Washington Post analysis of multiple video feeds found that Trump spent nearly 20 minutes apparently battling to keep his eyes open at the Thursday event. .. a seemingly stark illustration of the strain of the presidency on a 79-year-old ..

oh so these people do pay attention to who politicians follow on social media, they just don’t care that the vice president follows a bunch of actual neo-nazis
Axios tried to bust James Talarico for following adult content creators on Instagram and I'm genuinely impressed by his campaign's response

Installed a car battery in a Costco parking lot today. That was a first.

Thought after going inside to shop: to whom do I address my apology letter for every time I went there as a child and caused aisle traffic jams because of samples and lack of spatial awareness?

And by better healthcare he means junk insurance policies that take us back to the dark pre ACA days where every little part of your life was a preexisting condition and disqualified you from coverage.

Congratulations, America!

Statistically, that’s every American weighs themself before taking a 💦 and large 💩.

And then weighs themselves immediately after.

Got double-flipped off by someone for being reasonably cautious at a flashing yellow light left turn.

Honestly, if the 15 extra seconds I waited for a clear opening made someone that angry... they have much bigger issues.

My only concern is that SCOTUS has leaned heavily into the "Muffin in the Library episode of Bluey" doctrine when it comes to their most special boy in all the world, who must never face consequences.

Jim McGreevey? That Jim McGreevey?

Did not expect him to try to mount a comeback.
