I see my nextdoor neighbor taking groceries out of her car all the time. A LOT. Like, at a frequency that feels statistically unlikely. If I hadn't seen signs of a rich interior life, I would suspect that she's actually an NPC

I love Portugal so much. Didn't have any plans for the day, so I googled "castles near me" and within 20min I had a plan for the day

The US can't figure out how to get trains on the tracks we already have in place all over the country, meanwhile Portugal has double-decker trains??

Note: I am solo traveling right now, so I will probably be tweeting a bunch bc I have inane thoughts I need to share. But I will be delaying everything so you'll only find out where I am once I've already left. Bc safety

Am I the only person who gets wonders when their cab/Uber driver starts playing music if they're picking music they like, or are they trying to guess what I would like?

I have a generic alarm on my phone - usually it's just a reminder for later in the day, like 'oh, I need to submit something by EOD' so I don't bother labeling it

Except apparently, I set it earlier this week to go off today at 11:45AM and idk what I'm supposed to remember 😰

Found a few of these keychains that I think I picked up when AC Moore went out of business. Made for a nice little one day project.

Update: a pair of gloves! I am actually super satisfied with how these have turned out #knitting

The bad news is that I have no idea what my next project will be

Sometimes I suddenly remember a specific food exists, and it derails my entire day.

Just going about my day until I suddenly remember Popeyes chicken and biscuits exists, and now everything is on hold until I resolve this

FINALLY someone out there is brave enough to speak the truth. I have been fighting the good fight for years, so it's good to see someone else out there with some common sense

As part of my efforts to be less critical about things, I have decided to adopt a Michelin star-style rating system. Going forward everything starts at a base of '0 stars' and then gets points added on when it starts to impress me. Things I don't care for aren't bad - they just get a zero from me

I made socks! And no one can take that away from me!

It's my first pair, so they're wonky and kind of misshapen. But they are good and I love them #knitting

My first real #knitting project has produced a real, wearable sock
