Thanks @bigapplefilmfestival for a great festival experience in LA and New York. Thanks to the jurors who awarded my one hour pilot script WELCOME TO STILLWATER best thriller/horror. Saw some cool shorts and met some really cool writers and filmmakers in both cities! Congrats to all the winners.

People talking about reading scripts the studios put out for award season. But I find reading spec scripts that are going around town and/or recently sold to be more helpful. I Read Alignment, Love of Your Life this week. Looking forward to reading Clean Break. #Scriptsky

Observation: I see a lot of people post their directors reel. But most of the time it's just random pretty shots cut together. There's no build of a scene. There no showing me how you build a moment or tension or emotion. No a+b =c. Feels closer to a DP reel. Thoughts ?

I love UE 5.5s audio driving metahuman face animation. Heres an example I just did with an audio clip from one of my shorts. The actors performance ( my talented friend,Doug) in a wave file drives the face animation with a click of a button. I will be using this feature a lot. vimeo.com/1030513807
