I’m an #author. At 32, I developed chronic fatigue, daily migraines & lost 25 years to misery. Misdiagnosed brain tumor. Neurosurgery took my senses of smell & taste, & hormone function. I did an MFA, published a middle-grade mystery at 61 to kind reviews. Red Tiger, a #fantasy, is coming in 2025

Donald #Trump had dinner with sex trafficker Jeffrey #Epstein and other friends at Epstein mansion in 2017. That was 13 years after Trump claimed he had cut Epstein out of his life.

Trump was president.

Donald Trump is mentioned in the current release of Epstein emails more than 1,000 times.

I wonder if an historically bad October jobs report would distract journalists from pursuing the #Epstein files.

I expect that tomorrow and an escalation against Venezuela.

Evil, incompetent prick.

I’m pretty high. My last thought was that some junior lawyer could mail the #Epstein files to an independent journalist or Propublica and live in luxury in Costa Rica off their #Patreon for the rest of their lives.

And they’d be doing a great service for their country.
Karoline Leavitt claimed today that Trump was always "extremely professional" while hanging out with [checks notes] Jeffrey Epstein

This has been a common comment in our house today.

Oh look… another billionaire.
Besides everything else, Epstein was tied into most of the AI barons

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

A full court press from the Trump administration as they pressure a republican congresswoman to remove her vote from the discharge petition.

This might be the only decent thing that Lauren Boebert has done in her time in Congress. I expect she’ll cave.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

FFS, #Democrats. You can’t compromise with authoritarians.

The elections last week were fair. Don’t bet on fair elections in 2026.

Read this and get back to me.

The perfect storm
And the blueprint Democrats should use to save democracy. If they don't retake the House in 2026, the US won't have fair elections for a generation. Or longer.

Anyone heading to #HALCON this weekend?

WFNS is distributing a spec fiction zine that highlights 13 regional #authors, including me. Look for The Anvil Mountains.

It’s pulled from Red Tiger, a 120K word #fantasy coming from @galleon-books.bsky.social in Spring 2026.

For Christmas folks. So many lovely gifts!
I just sold some art prints in my lonely Etsy shop. Yay! I’ve been feeling overstimulated and gloomy lately so that cheered me up a bit. ☺️☺️

My cold, blackened, weird art girl heart is warmed, y’all 🖤

The magistrate judge scolded them for an "indict first, investigate second" posture and ordered them to turn over reams of material — including all grand jury info — to Comey's team
