Just thinking again about how we could have had a competent, highly qualified woman in office, and how different things could be right now...I'll never forgive the general population for allowing this to happen. Politics could have been so boring rn. 😩

A great example of why you should look for context from people who experienced that recent history. I remember the potential for chaos when the bloc fell apart. NATO and, for some, EU membership were stabilizing factors that would have made a huge difference in other situations like the Arab Spring.
