Hegseth hates DEI (just removed a monument to black soldiers in the Netherlands) every bit as much as Nazis did. Those Nazis refused to believe the remarkable bomber production at the US Willow Run plant in Detroit, because so many workers were black/female.

It's ONLY been 65 years since six year old Ruby Bridges walked through the halls of William Frantz Elementary as the first Black child to attend an all white school. Met with mobs and hate, her bravery and courage helped change the course of history for this nation.

I do tremendously honor Ruby's courage -- but, as a mother and grandmother, I have to honor the courage of her parents, who knew, even better than that brave little girl, what she was risking. It's horrifying that all the gains made, at such cost, are being clawed back by the worst people on earth.
