ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

Even on projects that don’t feature AI, it’s often difficult to justify how little voice actors get paid for work on projects that sell in the millions
So it’s fascinating to see folks say “they were compensated fairly” repeatedly on this occasion where we don’t even have the voice actors credited.
So it’s fascinating to see folks say “they were compensated fairly” repeatedly on this occasion where we don’t even have the voice actors credited.
The argument I'm hearing about it is "the voice actors got paid for it so it's all good"
We don't know how much they got paid, or if they get royalties every time those lines get used.
It's a slippery slope being brushed off because "game good"
if Arc Raiders had plagiarized art, would it matter?

Authoritarianism can only succeed when democracy fails to deliver for working people.
Authoritarian parties can only succeed when the pro-democracy parties fail to fight for working people.
We need a new democracy and a new party system which can represent working people.

We must stop this takeover before it's too late.

Americans deserve better than the eight Democratic Senators who voted on a promise, without a guarantee, to protect the Affordable Care Act.

Social ostracization and exile is not only an essential teaching mechanic of a functioning society, but also a genuine measure of protection by ensuring virus outbreaks are prevented from becoming new pandemics, through limiting their access to additional potential victims
As predicted, they’re going after the entire childhood vaccination schedule (second slide, from WaPo).

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

I have to hand it to them, it's an incredible bit to publicly lose a game of chicken, admit that's what happened, and then spend the next day lecturing everyone about courage and tenacity

Any time I see a post about the bullshit behavior of an individual or a corporation known for their bullshit behavior, there’s inevitably people saying “shocked pikachu face etc, why are you surprised”
Do we fucking need to start prefacing every statement with “this isn’t about being surprised?!?!”

The American people need protection from those who seek to exploit the workers for every last penny.
Some decry this view as "socialism."
I call it fair.

Quickly running up against my limit with finding out some funny/cool video I just shared was actually A.I.
Trying to keep the vitriol down about it, because I'm very close to saying something I'd probably regret later, but it's... infuriating.
