This is my last week of teaching middle school science before retirement. I've been in the classroom 35 years and have taught thousands of students. Time to keep an open mind and look to the future!

I am really having a hard time with good people that I know buying into MAGA and believing the fact-checked blatent lies. It's just incomprehensible to me. And sad. Very, very sad.

Three trials with modifications between each.
Then graphing results and writing about the process. We're doing this allllll week.
Great for the kids, but I'm exhausted already. 🤷♀️

I officially decided to retire from teaching after this school year. I'll have over 34 years invested then.
I have been "in school" - one way or another - since I was 4 years old. I love my coworkers and still enjoy teaching, but I'd rather go out on a high note.
I feel like it's time.
