I have realized today that one of the reasons I love mythology so much is that it gives me hope that one day we'll figure out that all the religions which have so far escaped that categorization need to be put back where they have always belonged.

I have a hypothesis regarding the nature of the human existence. I believe that we are all unique arrangements of common, shared experiences. There is a non-infinite number of events that happen to all humans. Some events go out of fashion while new ones arrive but no matter how unique you think

Free Idea Giveaway: I've seen so many incremental games where you're gathering resources and spending them all on upgrades so you can gather resources faster. This feels like an unhealthy mindset, the type corporations want workers to have so they're forever toiling.

Free Idea Giveaway: Bullet Heaven. Your character is wounded and has to reach one of several extraction points before they run out of time. Instead of increasing waves of difficulty introducing new enemy types, each region has different monsters and the farther you go the more dangerous they get.

I had this idea that Dwarves are so irascible and grumpy all the time because they find being out in the open instinctively stressful and terrifying. That's why they drink so much; they're self-medicating to deal with being outside of the comforting stone walls and ceiling of their native tunnels.

Free Idea Giveaway: Dwarves suffer from severe agoraphobia. Without at least two walls and a ceiling surrounding them they feel anxiety and a blue sky overhead fills them with dread. They never leave their mountain strongholds and stone tunnels. The MC is a sever claustrophobic reborn as a Dwarf.
