I've been a fan of Dave Davies of the Kinks and novelist Paul Auster for a long time now ... but it wasn't until I mentioned Mr. A (RIP) in an interview about the Kinks fan book that a fan pointed out they were born ON THE EXACT SAME DAY (2/3/47). That's at least a 9 on the Auster coincidence scale.
