At the same time the Court also blocked discovery about DOGE designed to determine whether they are subject to FOIA—so DOGE can access the most personal information about all of us but the records of how they are operating remain hidden. Privacy for the government but not the people.

This may be one of the most consequential decisions of our lifetime. Like spilling a box of glitter in an Uber, it will be impossible to undo. People’s lives are going to be ruined for decades, and as time passes, increasingly harder to trace the harm back to this rogue group of compromised maniacs.
The Supreme Court says Big Balls can have access to everyone's Social Security records (and remember that they have been using that unlawful access to falsely declare living people to be dead so they can't hold a job or a bank account).
