Seems to me the right-wingers are not really calling for measured debate as much as just wanting to silence liberal voices or voices that criticize right-wingers. Also trying to “cancel” the word fascist seems like something fascists would do right?

Seeing lots of MAGA concern about Mexican flags…but what about Irish flags at St Patrick’s Day or Italian flags in Italian American neighborhoods? Are only white people allowed to fly their ancestral flags?

I sometimes don’t know how to feel about teaching American history right now. Trump is planning on ending the republic and destroying all progress we’ve made towards a more just society…how do I adjust my teaching to this new reality? It’s depressing in ways but fires me up in other ways.
