Late Fall definitely has a different overall vibe. Caught a turkey gliding over the lake, plus another rare sight at Radnor Lake: some Pie-billed Grebes. And the majestic Bald Eagle made her apperance this morning. #birds #photography

Mallards are found all across the globe, being one of the most famous and beloved of all the duck species. Fun fact, all male species of ducks are commonly referred to as, "drakes."

This beautiful example shown here is from Radnor Lake, and serves as a waypoint for many migrating species. #birds

The Yellow-rumped Warbler is a small songbird that can be found across most of North America.
It is one of the most common warbler species and is known for its ability to digest waxy fruits, such as those from the wax myrtle tree, which allows it to winter further north than other warblers.

I love black and white photography when I'm able to really show the contrast between light and darkness. I particularly love this photo, do you like b&w photos?

Caught a lovely mated pair of Bluebirds plucking berries off a tree.

A Carolina Wren was staring me down. And I was lucky enough to catch a resting hummingbird.

The American Mink a member of the weasel family, it is a fierce hunter of fish, small mammals, birds, and amphibians, inhabiting wetlands like rivers, lakes, and marshes.

He kept this chipmunk up in the tree for quite a while.

This is a small sample of some street photography I did for a Labor Day Parade in Nashville. The parade was about celebrating unions and everything they've done for labor in this country.

The Duck River is a 284-mile-long river in Middle Tennessee, known for its exceptional biodiversity, supporting more fish and mussel species than any other river in the U.S.

I love walking it at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. #nature #photography

A Black Vulture has a face only a mother could love.

Black Vultures play a crucial role in the ecosystem by removing decaying carcasses, which helps prevent the spread of disease.

He finally became comfortable enough to come down to the shore for a drink. #birds #photography

The Barred Owl is a large, common owl of eastern North America, known for its distinctive "who cooks for you" call, dark brown eyes, and barred plumage.

I still call them the "guardian of the forest", as they mostly habitat mature forest areas. #birds #owls #photography

While often referred to as a Green Heron, their coloring can be deceiving, as they frequently exhibit a striking blue hue. I happen to catch this lil guy in the morning sun at Radnor Lake Natural Area and Wildlife Refuge.
