I think this is partly because so many IG users signed up for Threads, as IG pushed them to do, but then never used it. It’s very different from IG, so there wasn’t a lot of reason to stick around for many. You would expect the people who download Bluesky to be more active though. (1/2)

Rewatching a French anime I saw as a kid called Code Lyoko. Probably the first show I ever watched that had a consistent plot and wasn’t just a cartoon (Pokemon kinda does too, but it feels more episodic). ATLA was soon after.

I can’t tell how well the show holds up tho due to nostalgia lol.

Honestly my problem with X isn’t the presence of Trump supporters - I genuinely think the quality of the site went down after Elon took over and cut staff & favored Blue Checks. It just became a bunch of bots, spam, & porn in the replies. I also think the algorithm genuinely got worse. (1/3)

Reading a Psalm for the Wild-Built right now. Was in the mood for something light after reading a like 350 page book on Presocratic philosophy, lol. I’m enjoying it - very wholesome/whimsical, and I like the sorta solarpunk vibe? (If I’m using that term right lol.)

What’s the name for this? Eco-futurism? Solarpunk? Maybe the latter, but I thought “punk” may imply some dystopian elements or at least elements of severe inequality.

Pokémon TCGP is fun, and I love the collecting aspect, but the battling is horrendously unbalanced (esp with the 1st player disadvantage). Hopefully they can find ways to balance it!

TOTK was one of the greatest games I ever played. Easily a top 10 game and I put 180hrs into it - more than any other single-player game file. For some reason I was never that crazy about BOTW though. It was cool, but I found the gameplay lacking. I actually preferred Mario Odyssey at the time.

I’m enjoying the new Shadow Generations game - Sonic def seems to be back on track between this and Frontiers (tho Forces apparently wasn’t that great). I still miss the Adventure Era tho - slower pacing through the levels and more coherent level design I think? Generations is a bit trippy lol.

X is filled with bots and blue check nonsense. I have some good convos on Threads, but it’s very niche and there’s no politics. Bluesky was empty for awhile, but I feel like it’s starting to take off. The algorithm here seems better.
