Thank you to Snohomish County PUD CEO John Haarlow for voicing your support of the FEMA Act of 2025. I’m glad the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee approved this bill and I hope it moves quickly to the House floor for a vote. www.heraldnet.com/opinion/comm...

Trump's tariffs are crushing working people: for the first time since the pandemic, unemployed Americans now outnumber job openings.

He’s running the economy into the ground—just like his failed businesses.

Last week, I led House Democrats in demanding answers on how Trump would ensure the Bureau of Labor Statistics would be shielded from political interference.

Now it’s clear: it won’t be.

Rejecting facts might work for Trump’s appointees, but the rest of us still have to live with reality.

Trump is targeting the HUD-VASH program, which has helped cut veteran homelessness in half, because it doesn’t fit his idea of addressing homelessness, which he calls “vagrancy.”

I introduced an amendment to the annual defense bill to reverse his attacks & keep veterans housed.

Unemployment is rising. Hiring is at its worst level since 2021. And Trump's reckless tariffs and billionaire tax breaks are raising prices.

We can't afford Trump's economy.

This is what it looks like when democracy unravels.

Trump is now calling for Gavin Newsom to be arrested—not for breaking the law, but for disagreeing with him.

This is the beginning of being “arrested” for political opposition

What a terrifying time to be an American.
