A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼

I had previously seen the last minute or so of this marvelous video, but the whole thing is inspiring. Never doubt that one person really can change the whole world for the good.

Action of the day. But I can't promise there won't be more.

I have spoken to a lot of people who were exhausted even before today and are even more exhausted now. If we give up on day one, this country will not survive the next four years.

Here's the deal. I'm not watching every announcement or reading every story. It's going to get bad, we already know that. I intend to spend my time saying yes to those who need help and no to those bent on harm and destruction. Period.

I'm so glad I was able to watch President Biden's beautiful eulogy for President Carter. As he spoke about a faith-filled, purpose-driven life, I wondered whether his words had any kind of impact on our incoming president.
