Opinions are my own
The aggressive consumer adoption of web-apps not only weakens the prospects of the iPhone. It's also potentially the trojan horse that tips the scale on Windows in the gaming community as well.

I'll be participating to the extent that works for my family, and young child, but I welcome folks to join me in withholding your wallet to send a message — trust me, the deals will remain after this period.

I'm still working, and if I shop I'll do it with small, local businesses. #economicblackout

I did not enjoy writing this; it can't even serve as an ad for my newsletter, which I've suspended due to an overbilling situation that has me almost regretting leaving Substack. But, you know, it's evidence for the piece I just didn't get to include.

It's not lost on me that the part of the White House we are destroying is the part that has to do with women's history in the White House.
NEW: NBC News confirms that the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, on the east side of the White House, has been destroyed as part of the demolition of the East Wing.

Just went to #Gamestop to pickup a preorder of Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 and found myself stuck behind a 45min plus line of people trying to buy Pokemon cards.

Ended up strolling into Best Buy and walking out with a copy in minutes. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Both experiences were shitty.

Hey! Congratulations to Xbox on finding my limit. As a very early Xbox Live subscriber, and day-one Game Pass Ultimate subscriber. I can't justify $360/year.

Fortunately I've got lots of stacked codes taking me through about another 12 months of service, I won't renewing. I'll invest elsewhere.

In times like this I always ask, WWEALWD: What would Ed and Lorraine Warren do?

The problem is that the answer is usually “Fuck with ghosts” so it doesn’t totally apply to most situations.

Hope that helps. 👻

One of the latest, more insidious dark patterns in #e-commerce #UX is the modals that offer a discount with your email address, then tell you to claim said discount on a second step by providing your phone number.

Fuck off with that shit.
