Starting in November, my food benefits are being put on hold til the government shutdown is lifted and funding gets restored. I will need more help, even more so than usual. Any assistance will be most grateful. I know many of us face uncertain times, and I wish I could help as well.

Food insecurity is ALWAYS a political choice. Famine is ALWAYS manmade. People go hungry because of other people’s decisions. We have more than enough food for everyone, and enormous amounts of it are wasted—literally thrown in the garbage—on purpose.
