Hey, if you struggle with self-image/body issues like I do, saying out loud “Aging is a privilege that not everyone gets to have” helps me recenter myself and releases those negative thought gremlins when I hate what I see in the mirror.

As my partner says, "I work full time just to stay alive." They literally cannot have a job because their disability requires so much work daily that there isn't even a ton left to spend on family and hobbies. UBI should be standard and disabled folks should get SS ON TOP of that.

Yeah, don't put on those rose colored glasses about past president actions. Just because they didn't usher in fascism doesn't mean their hands weren't covered in blood.
pretty sure i grew up during the same time and i seem to remember a few pesky things about weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist, hundreds of thousands of dead civilians, gutting welfare, drug criminalization that fueled mass incarceration, a job-killing trade deal, what am i forgetting?
Hard to believe I grew up at a time when the biggest Presidential crisis' were misspelling potato in 6th grade, yelping too loudly at a campaign stop or whether or not they lied about a blowjob.
