You can go after the things you want, and perhaps by any means. But what you want should matter more. You shouldn’t want things that cost you your dignity, your respect, or your health. I can’t believe some want a life without empathy.

Did we really think morality was going to be a layup? As if all the people who don’t like sharing were going to take the day off? Especially when one side thinks morality is living life exactly like they do or they’ll feel insecure. The right to exist will always be tested.
