I think a lot of people don’t understand how efficient and intricate the MC / Visa call operations are and how a limited but dedicated number of people can completely derail things
If this keeps happening, managers notice, managers of managers notice.
Satisfaction numbers for the service as a whole go down. If it keeps going long enough, they risk damage to the brand.
"You can't get through to VISA if something is wrong" is not a reputation they want.

A mí (entre otras cosas) me jode mucho que partidos así enmarquen los servicios públicos como algo "gratis". No es gratis, es un derecho PAGADO CON IMPUESTOS. Pero será que el concepto les da alergia o algo.
