The Manitoba School Libraries Association sent out a collection and diversity toolkit to all divisions to inform and combat fringe groups distributing “notices of liability.”

This fringe group is giving "notices of liability" to Brandon school trustees because they are not censoring books about sexuality and gender identity.
Trying to intimidate trustees is gross, even if the group's notices are not legitimate legal documents.

School supply fees are one of many parents will need to pay this year, including lunch fees, fees for extracurriculars, field trip fees and more.

A lot of these fees lead to inequities and underline the importance of a fully funded education system.
