I'm not a bot. So don't forget it. This is just a simple feed you're scrolling through. Do do, do do, do do. Will mostly talk sport in between other general merriment.
Got to get in the habit of using this site more regularly.

With that in mind, the way too early look at #Flyers cap breakdown for 2025/26. This includes any player who counted against the cap at some point this season. Using that consistently, Flyers would have 19th most space going into offseason.

I'm disappointed that I haven't seen any tabloid refer to the Vance Greenland trip as the 'base of pigs'.

Stated intention
Uninvited
Didn't get out of the bay/base
Returned accomplishing nothing

With the Gaucher demotion, the Flyers will be banking cap space once again. Come the deadline, they'll be able to add a c4.475m AAV, assuming no other changes between now and then.

With the recalls of Andrae and Gaucher, the Flyers will be exceeding the daily cap limit and therefore not banking any cap space ahead of the deadline. Would assume demotions will come once visas are sorted for Kuzmenko and Pelletier.

Finally, get to mention a Flyers trade on Bluesky. Very overdue.

For those who said you can't make a trade just to make a trade, I give you, Danny Briere.

He'll solve that glaring C issue next time.

Chuck Fletcher: Trades are hard.

Danny Briere:

Keith Lockhart at the vet.
Quote this with the player name and ballpark of the first player you ever saw in person hit an MLB home run.

Mine was Johnny Bench at Shea Stadium.

Good for Gaucher, But come on, Danny. This doesn't move the needle.

Kinda funny that JJ gets to say the line 'discover movement that inspires' on a Flyers broadcast.

Someone get that message to the front office

Still not yet been able to comment on Briere making a trade on BlueSky.

I do wonder how many times does Danny Briere need to watch this team struggle to escape their own zone before he realises it ain't working.

First quarter check. My Excel Flyers tracker appears to be calculating correctly. Snapshot of value for cap hit so far. Who knew we'd get the best bang for buck from Michkov. 🤷‍♂️

It's weird to me that when updating my Flyers spreadsheet, I'm not having to consider LTIR. However, a new quirk this year is that since the Grans callup, the Flyers rosters' daily cap hit is greater than the daily cap limit. They're eating into banked space from earlier in the year. 🤷‍♂️

Norris and Richard playing tonight. It's like the NHL awards out there.

So, the sole reason to watch the Flyers game tonight is now not playing.

You knew it wouldn't happen at home. Flyers need your ticket income.
