Affirmation Coyote really enjoys chasing hares but they think they will give this one a pass.
I was thinking about this and I realized the two games I can think of where I don’t skip optional dialogue were Disco Elysium and The Witcher 3, games where you’re doing investigations and it makes sense that the main character asks a ton of questions.
It also helps that the writing is great

In most games that mark dialogue options that progress the dialogue forward I go for those, and I find that it flows so much better without my character stopping to ask three follow up questions about every noun in the previous sentence
