I don’t think people actually realize how wildly maximalist Jewish writing is. Like, the classic example is people saying they’ve read Talmud when Talmud is this:

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)
They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

I just read about Platner's Nazi tattoo and my first reaction was "Oh no, @hodgman.bsky.social will be heartbroken". My 2nd thought was "This really isn't about John, though." And my 3rd thought was "But he publicly endorsed Platner on his podcast, he needs to say something now."
