It is quite incredible the extent to which Trump is routinely held to a lower standard than every other politician. This would pretty much end the career of any other national leadership candidate in any western democracy, except none would ever do it - at all, still less during a mourning period

So @mark-carney.bsky.social has got King Charles to open Canadian Parliament. As a Jacobite I have mixed feelings. But it will show Americans that our King is smarter and classier than their King.
