If you are going to use AI in your academic work at ALL you need to use it smart. I know literature reviews suck to write, but you MUST do the research yourself. If you do use AI, use it to brainstorm and nothing more.
If you leverage AI in literature review, CHECK THOSE REFERENCES. I just finished reading through a proposal on a topic that I knew well, and thus was surprised to see several papers referenced that I hadn't known of. Then when I looked them up online, I found they didn't exist. 7 fake references.

I finished the introduction to my book! I needed it as writing sample for the full proposal. Only a few more weeks and my agent might be shopping it to publishers!!! (I have no idea how long until then actually, because I have no concept of traditional publishing. But I can hope!)

Opinion: middle schools need to ban body sprays. The combined smell of a dozen scents of bath and body works and Axe body spray gives me a migraine every time I substitute teach. Like damn.
