If you attend a church in North Carolina and they aren’t loudly and clearly opposing ICE, leave that church. They have no
interest in Jesus.

One of the reasons that so many people insist that Charlie Kirk was some paragon of Christian virtue is that many of them are very demonstrably bad at reading the Bible and are therefore worshipping a dude who looks more like Jason Bourne than the Nazarene.

The police have investigated the police and determined they did nothing wrong, who could’ve predicted this?
Prosecutors will not bring criminal charges against sheriff’s officers who wrestled a Black man out of a car during a traffic stop and punched him multiple times, the local sheriff said Monday.

It's telling that the notable Confederate officers who later served the US in diplomatic roles (Longstreet, Mosby) or in military roles (Wheeler) don't have these forts named after them. Fitzhugh Lee is the only significant one who does, and if his last name were not Lee, he wouldn't either.
It's intensely funny in an ironic sense that actually effective Confederate generals (Longstreet, Jackson, Johnston) never had bases named after them—but some of the most incompetent officers the United States has ever had (Bragg, Hood) did.

Says a lot about the priorities of the Lost Causers tbh.

Immigrants make America better. Period. It's not up for debate.

If I'm a Democratic politician, I'm out making this case every day, convincing voters. If it turns out that no matter what I say, my constituents still hate immigrants, I wouldn't pander. I'd lose the next election and move.

This is remarkable. New Quinnipiac poll finds support for path to legalization for most undocumented immigrants has risen to 64%. Only 31% want most of them deported.

That's a 14 point net swing for legalization since Trump took office.
