Texas is going through a devastating time. More than 80 people were killed in the catastrophic Texas flooding over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. A UTSA faculty member was among those confirmed dead.

Starting July 1, a Texas bill will go into effect and will require everyone in the state of Texas to have a hard, metal license plate.

The Judson ISD board has approved cuts across the district, including the elimination of athletics and staff.

Judson ISD isn't the only district facing cuts. SAISD shuttered a dozen schools in 2024 and NEISD closed 3 in Feb.

District 10 councilman Marc Whyte spoke to the press about the “distasteful” protest occurring outside city hall.

“A lot of what's going on out here is disrespectful and I don't like the language that's being used,” he said.
