This book has been so soothing. I have probably learned more about the foreign policies that shape the world just in the first three chapters than I have in at least the last 15 years of news media. 🙃 It's helped clarify a lot of the absolutely batshit nonsense of the current timeline. COMFORT READ

Just been to see Wicked for Good. Somehow managed too avoid any spoilers for the Musical, the books, the soundtrack or anything online for the last 22 years.
Big shoutout to Wicked fans for being so good about revealing the major plot points! #Wicked

I am loving all the pictures and videos of the Sumo Rikishi visiting London tourist spots this week.
Favourite so far are the pictures from platform 9 and 3/4 at Kings Cross Station.

I know I've asked this a few times recently but I've been very unwell for much of this year & am trying to get back on my feet again financially by teaching my workshops again alongside running my Etsy shop.
Please could you give my posts above/below about my workshop a RT if you have a moment?...🌿

Thanks to everyone who signed for free yesterday! (and to the folks who subscribed at the $3 level, too!)

That brings us almost up to 400 subscribers, which is great. But I’m greedy, & want more. If you think you’d like free weekly articles about maps, mapmaking, and cool new books, give it a look!
Friends: as many of you know, I have a patreon account where I write about the maps, mapping, & related things.

I'm hoping to get the membership up over 500 subscribers. It's free, so if you're curious, go read some articles! If you like it, please consider subscribing!

Caught merrily marching across the Dining room floor. Biggest wood louse I have ever seen. It is even slightly curled up in the photo. Removed to a suitable bit of the garden though I feel I might be releasing Godzilla on the other critters.
