Exactly what Angharad said. I would add an embarrassing dash of “it wasn’t profitable enough for them”, and a drizzle of “they just can’t be arsed with the hassle”. Poor form and glad I was booted out their club now (from a previous scandal, not the current one) 👀
While I understand the financial need to reduce the number of award schemes, I do wonder if it will skew towards London agencies and undo some of the amazing work regional agencies have done in proving great work happens outside the English capital too.
The CIPR has announced the discontinuation of its regional PRide Awards and will be working to find a sustainable and volunteer-run initiative to continue celebrating the profession's achievements across the country.

“Can you edit the video Santa did for his visit please and post it on social”. Turns out that being an employee is full of risk. This edit wasn’t what the client had in mind.

Another BBC interview done about #crisiscomms and #masterchef. Controversial opinion, in BBC terms they have acted far quicker than they have historically with situations like this. It just doesn’t feel like that in today’s 24hr media environment. Thank you for reading.
