18F was doing exactly the type of work that DOGE claims to want – yet we were eliminated shortly after midnight. Read our letter to the American people:

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

Love this letter. It is history that informs but encourages. The last line is incredible. If we work together, this fascist attempt will fail.

One voice can be very very loud.

And by being so, it can inspire others to speak up too.
Would very much like to thank Joanne Freeman @jbf1755.bsky.social for her pointing out that Bishop Budde was one voice, just one, speaking to power and it was amplified across the media.

Don't give up.
Don't stop speaking the truth.

Resistance is NOT futile.

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps.

The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years.

History is repeating. Pay attention.

I know this won't get much exposure because I'm fresh to the platform, but ...

This is your friendly reminder to check in with your friends/loved ones this week. Especially the strong ones... the ones that stay levelheaded during a crisis... some of us aren't doing as well as you might think.
