Currently down a rabbit hole trying to help a friend. Their spouse and 6 year old left the UK for Thailand end of June 2024. My friend had no idea the spouse was planning this. I have been attempting to help them navigate the legal situation. Does anyone have experience of similar?

Only a fool ignores history.
It is little known, but the first book burnings in Nazi Germany didn’t target Jewish writers. It was the burning of the library of the Institute of Sexual Research, which was a safe home for trans people.

It is no accident that fascists today walk that same dark path by targeting trans people. /5
