Oh he's Def physically intimidating but like that's his Aura. He's supposed to be of similar height and build to sqq, just 4 cm taller, but he's still described a little broader too. But I don't like how sqq is drawn like 5inches shorter than both binghe and lqg when he's of height w both????

It's a minor difference but like....doesn't it make it so much more heartbreaking? He gets thrown into the abyss at 16 at most, and then when they reunite he's only barely 19.... He's so young!

The only inaccuracy I'm actually 100% certain about is when binghe introduces his age as 14, when in the original he says nominally 14, which any reader of the original would correctly interpret it as him being 13 (or 12, if you remember his birth being in the depths of winter)

It's not like, totally bad, but there's always little things that get messed up! We also compared between BC novels and the official version when we did a reread and we did find the language in BC novels was often more fun + BC novels provided footnotes lmao

Again, none of this is actually me being mad at the artists or the translators, but I'm REALLY mad at 7seas because I know that they put everyone working on the novels on insane time crunches and were the ones making the creative decisions. The choice for the graphic design aspect was also quite ass
