Not only is "Nebraska" one of the most depressing songs ever written but it's also one of the most fun songs to improvise stupid lyrics to. The general structure with the pauses gives you the perfect amount of time for you to think of a rhyme that works as a punchline.

I'm only now realizing the band is Goldfinger. Badfinger is a different band. This was such a funny joke AND a good point and now it doesn't work as either. Damn.
