A great few days up in Rutland. Fishing was challenging- very sunny with a strong easterly. Still you have to be dead inside not to enjoy 4 days out in the elements, watching nature (I finally saw the Ospreys) and chatting shite with mates. ##flyfishing #Rutland

A wonderful day out on a boat at Wimberall lake. A stunning location, great hard fighting fish. It's not always about the quantity of fish you catch, but your surroundings and company. Of course a few wee trouties makes the day better. #flyfishing #mentalhealth

This big boy was landed on a 6wt BARKEATER rod and a sink tip line . He fell to the classic black leach with an orange tungsten bead .

This week Island Lake Fly Fishing Club has seen more and more #rainbowtrout. We've also seen two #browntrout up to 3.5lbs.
Mike, a member, had the first 15 #fish limit including the browns.
Orange blobs and Montanas seem to be the #flies to use.
